Corales y Conservación
Costa Rica Day 11
hola,
Currently watching some tv from bed with Yoda curled up on me. The channel is Extra TV and a show called ‘Eco Latin America’ just finished up where they spotlight activists in different LatAm countries and their efforts - so one was a guy in Bolivia who’s making building bricks out of plastic that’s been collected, another is a woman in El Salvador who started a conservation for the turtle hatchlings and the last one was Costa Rica (!) in Puerto Viejo where they’re studying the corales (coral) and collecting data and so on. I don’t understand everything but listening helps me learn!
I haven’t written here about conservation efforts yet but Costa Rica is so impressive — they are 99%+ carbon neutral a server was telling me the other day. They are powered by the natural elements (wind/water and so on). Rather than tell, here I’m showing some of the efforts I’ve noticed in regards to their environmentalism and other observations…

They don't provide mass amounts of napkins like we do in America. They're avail just way more conscious using them
