Upcycled Wine Bottles

I collect empty wine bottles at the end of the night at The Pheasant, the restaurant I work at on Cape Cod, and upcycle them into various vessels. The process involves marking, using an open flame to separate and then hand sanding each individual bottle.

Much credit goes out to Ana and the folks at CHAKO on the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, East Africa, for teaching me how to safely and effectively mark, cut and sand the glass bottles. Asante sana :)

Here are some of the low-intervention wine bottles that now have new lives!
